Terms and Conditions

Last updated 10 October 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website. By accessing or using the website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Website” means the public website medoteca.com, operated by Kodrium S.R.L.
  • “Provider” means Kodrium S.R.L., the legal entity operating the Website.
  • “User” means any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the Website.
  • “Content” means any text, images, data, information or other material available on the Website.

2. What these terms cover

These terms cover this website only - the public pages at medoteca.com.

Use of the Medoteca software platform is governed by a separate written agreement between the Provider and the organisation that gave you access to it. Nothing on this website varies that agreement, and if the two ever disagree, the agreement wins.

3. Acceptance

By using the Website, the User confirms that they:

  • are of legal age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian;
  • have read and understood these Terms and Conditions;
  • have the legal capacity required;
  • accept these terms freely and unequivocally.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Website.

4. Use of the Website

You may read, link to and share this site freely. The User agrees to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. The following are prohibited:

  • using the Website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
  • transmitting defamatory, offensive, obscene or unlawful content;
  • attempting unauthorised access to systems or data, or probing the Website for vulnerabilities;
  • disrupting the Website by any technical means, including using automated tools in a way that degrades service for others;
  • unauthorised copying, modification or distribution of the Content.

5. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Content and the Website - including design, wordmark and code - belong to Kodrium S.R.L. or its licensors. You may quote reasonable extracts with attribution. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited.

6. Your obligations for what you send us

This applies to bug reports, feature suggestions and anything else you send us unprompted.

  • Accurate information. The User guarantees that what they send is true and correct, and is responsible for any inaccuracy in it.
  • We may act on it. If you suggest an improvement and we build it, you are not owed a fee, a credit or a share of anything, and we acquire no obligation to you by building it.
  • Do not send what is not yours to send. Do not include confidential information belonging to your employer or a third party, credentials of any kind, or personal data about other people beyond what is needed to describe the problem.
  • Keep security issues out of the open. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, do not publish it or describe how to reproduce it in an ordinary bug report. Write to security@medoteca.com and we will arrange a private channel.
  • Correspondence is not support. Emailing us does not create a support entitlement. What response times you are owed, if any, are in your organisation’s agreement.

7. Descriptions of the platform

This site describes the platform as it stands and may change without notice. Anything marked in development is not available today, and its description is a statement of intent rather than a commitment to a feature, a scope or a date.

Descriptions of functionality anywhere on this site, including on the Modules and What’s new pages, are informational. They are not a warranty, not a specification, and not a promise to deliver. What you are entitled to is set out in your organisation’s agreement with us.

8. User rights

The User has the right to be informed of anything relevant to their use of the Website, including changes to these terms.

9. Provider obligations and rights

  • The Provider keeps the User’s personal data secure and confidential, in line with applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
  • The Provider may change these Terms and Conditions, as set out in section 13.
  • The Provider may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Website.

10. Availability

This site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Where we link elsewhere we do not control that content and are not responsible for it.

12. Limitation of liability

The Website is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:

  • loss or damage resulting from using, or being unable to use, the Website;
  • inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date information;
  • unauthorised access to the User’s data caused by the User’s own conduct;
  • technical interruptions or malfunctions.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer rights.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when published on the Website. Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be announced on the Website. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute will be settled amicably where possible, and failing that, by the competent courts of Romania.

15. Final provisions

The User expressly accepts these Terms and Conditions as regards use of the Website. These terms do not replace or vary the separate written agreement for the Medoteca software platform described in section 2.
